New Student Registration

If you are a new student starting at Ridley, the following will take you through a step-by-step process to register.

Upper School Information

List of 10 items.

  • Step 1: Study Permits, Visas and Guardianship

Most foreign nationals need a study permit and either a Temporary Resident Visa or an electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to study in Canada. Please click here to learn more and to begin the application process.

International students whose primary residence is outside of North America must have a custodian who holds Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residency. An international family may identify their own custodian who is English-speaking and over the age of 21. Families who do not have a custodian may wish to use a third-party consultant to provide custodianship. Along with a number of other independent schools in Ontario, Ridley College works with International Student Guardianship Canada (ISGC) to ensure students are safe and well cared for during their time at the school. For further information, please visit the ISGC website here.

The study permit and visa application process can be complex and lengthy. Please click here to view the processing times for these documents. Ridley College will provide the necessary Letter of Acceptance and statement of account (upon request), to assist with the application. If families require additional guidance with the study permit and visa application process, families may choose to contact ISGC or Ridley College’s Admissions Office.

  • Step 2: Activate Enrollment Contract

Complete the online enrollment contract based on information provided in the email received from enrollment@ridleycollege.com. This email will be sent to you once you have accepted the offer of enrollment and paid the registration fee.

Make the tuition installment payments based on the dates of the payment plan chosen on the contract.

Once logged in, a parent will also have access to various system logins, forms, handbooks and links that can be found on the Resource Board. Click here for instructions on retrieving your login information.

For students, TigerNET is where they will view their daily schedule, assignments, course material, grades and report cards. Students will be provided with all their login credentials over the summer.
