Headmaster Kidd Welcomes New Students for Lunch

Headmaster Ed Kidd continued a cherished tradition this fall by hosting new Upper School students from each boarding House for lunch at Kenyon Lett House.

Last week, boys from Merritt South joined the headmaster for conversation and connection. Over lunch, he asked each student about their favourite classes, co-curricular activities and interests. He also made a point of learning where each student is from and set himself the challenge of remembering every name by the end of the meal.

The lunch wrapped up with a light-hearted “Ask Me Anything” session, where students could turn the tables and ask Mr. Kidd their own questions.

These annual lunches are part of the headmaster’s ongoing commitment to building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging within the Ridley community.
