Aaron Brindle is a Partner at Radical Ventures, the Toronto-based venture capital firm that has emerged as a leading backer of domestic artificial intelligence start-ups. Aaron oversees communications and public affairs for the firm and helps companies in its portfolio craft their communications. From 2011 to 2020, he was the Manager, Global Communications and Public Affairs for Google, Inc., helping manage the company’s brand, communicating Google’s innovations and ideals to consumers, media and government. Before joining Google, Aaron worked as a journalist and writer. As a reporter for CBC, he covered national and international news. In 2002, he was part of the team at CBC who created the national current affairs programme, The Current and went on to serve as Documentary Producer and Assignment Editor. A graduate of McGill University, Aaron has earned a number of national and international distinctions for his documentary work, including the 2011 Amnesty International Media Award.
