McPherson, Andrew '81

McPherson, Andrew '81
His musical career began early, with lessons in classical flute as a teen. While attending Ridley, Andrew’s musical talents were on display when he was appointed captain of the Cadet Corps band. After studying music at the University of Western Ontario and earning a diploma in music recording from Fanshawe College, Andrew took little time in plunging into the widescreen environment of recording. He took jobs in small studios, all the while observing the techniques of other engineers and producers. With a vibrant career, balancing his award winning global music project Eccodek which received a 2009 Juno nomination and multiple Canadian Music Awards, with work as a remixer, producer, composer, voice actor and DJ, Andrew continues forging a reputation as a gifted musician.
