Advanced Performance Hockey

Get to Know Our Elite Hockey Programme

Our elite Hockey programme is focused on elevating core fundamentals while advancing each players skill-set. The on-ice curriculum is designed in a way to ensure players are challenged to incorporate skill development with positional awareness and expectations. Conditioning and speed will be integrated in both the on- and off-ice training for these AA and AAA level athletes. This robust advanced programme will be instructed by Ridley’s own high performance, senior coaching staff. Limited space available. Goalies will receive specialized training.

Programme Highlights
  • Low Camper to Coach Ratio of 4:1
  • 3 hours of on-ice training per day
  • Ridley’s own high-performance senior coaching staff with experience playing and instructing at the university and national level
  • Specialized Goalie Coach, Strength and Conditioning Trainer, Activity Supervisor
  • On campus Health Centre staffed with licensed medical professionals
  • A Ridley reversible hockey jersey and dry-wick off-ice training shirt

Week One: July 5-9, 2021
Week Two: August 16-20, 2021
Cost: $499/week
 
Per weekly session, this programme will accept 20 skaters, plus 3 goalies, ages 9-11 years; and 20 skaters, plus 3 goalies, ages 12-14 years. 
 
**Registration for Week One will close May 21st. Successful applicants will be notified by May 31st.
**Registration for Week Two will close July 2nd. Successful applicants will be notified of acceptance by July 9th.

  • Junior Staff

    Our junior staff are athletically-oriented high school seniors, college or university students who are sensitive, respectful and take a personal interest in each camper. They demonstrate fairness, firmness and a positive attitude in carrying out their responsibilities.

    All staff receive extensive training during staff orientation, with further mentoring from our Head Coaches throughout the summer. Staff are all CPR and FIRST AID trained, NCCP: Fundamental movement skills trained and have a certified police check (vulnerability sector).

Summer 2021 Refund Policy


Requests for cancellation or refunds must be made in writing and submitted to the Ridley College Summer Programmes office via email at summerprogrammmes@ridleycollege.com Requests for refunds received prior to four weeks before the start date of the programmes will receive a full refund, less an administration fee of 10 per cent. Refund requests received between one and four weeks prior to the start date of the programme are subject to an Administration Fee of 50 per cent of the total fee. Refund requests received less than one week prior to the start of camp will not qualify for a refund.
 
Pro-rated refunds are not available for days absent, meals not taken or other services not fully utilized. The full session’s fees are due and payable if a child is registered and attends any part of a session.
 
Any camper who exhibits behaviour that is deemed in appropriate by the Summer Programmes Manager will have their participation suspended or terminated without a refund.
 
Ridley endeavours to provide one week notice for the cancellation of any week of camp; however, all families will be offered an alternate programme for the same week or a full refund.
 
If we are advised by the Provincial and Health Advisories to cancel any or all sessions of a summer programme due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions, all registration fees will be refunded in full.
