Bradley, Emily '06
After attending Ridley, where she excelled in debating, Emily Bradley graduated with honors in political science from Colgate University in 2010 and, upon graduation, was asked to be a Trustee for both Academic and Faculty Affairs and their Student Affairs Committees.

Although she is Canadian, having a grandfather who was a career U.S. diplomat made politics an early passion. While in D.C. on a Washington Study Group, Bradley secured an internship with Bob Schieffer and his staff at Face the Nation—and eventually became the CBS show's Associate Producer. In 2014, Emily was part of the Face the Nation team which won an Emmy Award for their John F. Kennedy’s Assassination 50th Anniversary special.

Emily currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Communications for the Thomas Jefferson Foundation (TJF), the private non-profit that owns and operates Monticello. A museum, research institute and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Monticello is committed to a dual mission of education and preservation.
