Arguably Canada’s most successful secondary school programme, Ridley Rowing is focused on early introduction, technical training, and smaller boats. Our program has earned 97 gold medals at the Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association (CSSRA) Championships, 25 victories at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, and five Princess Elizabeth Challenge Cup wins.

Rowers at Ridley benefit from daily on-water practices in the spring and fall and tank sessions in winter. Training and competition are supported by a dedicated coaching staff with national and international experience, Ridley’s athletic therapy and school medical team, a strength and conditioning coach, and other professional instructors. Student-athletes may also attend a robust March Break Training camp, which is held each year in Sarasota, Florida.
