Van der Slagt, Grant '87
Grant earned a degree in architecture and started his career working on institutional projects in Europe. A return to Canada landed him in the film industry as an art director and set designer. Since 1997, he has been recognized for his work on a variety of commercial and feature films. In 2002, he was nominated for an Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Design Award for the film Chicago, a Directors Guild of Canada Team Award for Outstanding Achievement in a Television Series for Degrassi: The Next Generation, and in 2010 for an Art Directors Guild Excellence in Production Award for the fantasy film, Tron: Legacy. Grant lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
