Lower School
Student Life

An important part of our holistic approach to learning includes weekly services in our Memorial Chapel.

The Lower School Chapel programme is rooted in the school’s Anglican traditions, where the focus is on the universal ideals of morality, diversity, service, and justice. Chapel time is inclusive and we embrace the religious and cultural diversities represented within our international student body.
Orchestrated by our School Chaplain, weekly services are fun and lively, revolving around traditional hymn singing, prayers, student dramatic and musical performances, scripture readings, announcements, and a homily or address. Students and teachers are very involved in all of the activities that make up each service, and we often feature guest speakers and guest musicians.
Parents and family members are always welcome in Chapel, and their presence makes Friday mornings a truly special time. These magical moments inspires us to bring forth our best selves, both as individuals and as members of a community so that we may lead flourishing lives and foster a spirit of compassion and concern for the well-being of others.
