Greg Evans, PhD
Greg completed a research-based PhD focusing on Positive Psychology from the University of Queensland, an MA in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a BA from Acadia University.
He also earned a graduate diploma in Human Resources Management in 2016. Greg is founder and CEO of The Happiness Enhancement Group (HEG) and former VP and interim chair of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association. He is a faculty member of The Flourishing Centre, delivering a 240hr, 6-month Certification in Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP). Greg has been a consultant for organizations such as Lululemon, CBC, Toronto EMS, Upper Canada College, University of Toronto Schools, Ridley College and Durham District School Board. Greg was a past leader of the Positive Education Mastermind Group, Chair of the Educating for Resilience Conference and Ottawa Positive Psychology Series and served as a member of the core planning committees of the 2nd and 4th Canadian Conferences on Positive Psychology. He is a regular speaker, executive coach, and workshop facilitator in diverse industries. He has been selected to speak at events such as TedX youth, SXSW Interactive, Ignite, Educating for Resilience, the CPPA conference, and the CPA convention, among others.
