Sport has the tremendous power to build community— and Tim did just that with his incredible work building and developing rowing in Niagara and Canada at large. For more than 40 years, he's devoted time and passion to the sport as a volunteer, founder of the Ridley Boat Club, and in top leadership roles at the St. Catharines Rowing Club and Canadian Henley Rowing Corporation.
In 1999, Tim helped Niagara realize the World Rowing Championships in St. Catharines. He was inducted as a member of the St. Catharines Sport Hall of Fame in 1996 and has been the recipient of several awards since, including the FISA Gold Medal and Queen’s Jubilee Medal.
