Hayes, Alexander '30 - Football

Hayes, Alexander '30
Alexander is considered to be among the 'Football Greats' of Ridley. He was “a Griffith-trained stalwart who went on to Canadian Football fame; he captained Ridley in 1930, doing some of the most spectacular broken-field running the School ever saw”. This Quarterback and place kicker of the Sarnia Imperials won the 1934 Grey Cup and earned the reputation of “the greatest kicker of them all.”
