Frederick, John '71 - Squash

John may have been the Ontario Open Squash Champion, Bermuda Open Squash Champion, Canadian Over 40 Squash Champion, Canadian Over 45 Squash Champion, and two-time Ontario Over 50 Squash Champion, but his greatest sport memory is about a running race—his first Boston Marathon.

It was to be the first of 31 consecutive Boston Marathons he has run. A tenacious competitor, dedicated and courageous athlete, and staunch supporter and developer of Canadian squash, John advocates for the joy of participation in sport at any level.
"My greatest lesson in sport, is the importance of the camaraderie through sport participation.”
