Collins, Paul '42 - Marathon

Paul won the Canadian Marathon title three times: first, in Toronto in 1949; next, in Verdun, Quebec in 1950; and then in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec in 1952. At the 1950 British Empire Games, Paul finished sixth in the marathon event and tenth in the six-mile event. Shortly thereafter, he was selected to run the marathon for Canada at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, where he finished 40th overall.
