MentORship Programme

Many Ridley College alumni have gone on to enjoy successful careers in their respective fields. The Ridley College MentORship Programme offers these Old Ridleians an opportunity to contribute to the Ridley mission by advising younger alumni who have graduated within the last ten years.

The Ridley College MentORship Programme facilitates connections between alumni. Through the programme, alumni mentors provide younger alumni with professional advice as they enter into their careers.

Young alumni (mentees) may apply to the programme by filling out an application form.

Programme Details

  • Young alumni who have graduated in the last ten years can apply to be mentees.
  • Mentors and mentee pairs will be matched throughout the year as participants join the programme.
  • Mentors and mentees should connect within the first week after a match has been made and have their first meeting no later than three weeks after they are matched. Meetings can be held in person (if feasible), over the phone, or using Skype/FaceTime.
  • Mentors and mentees commit to at least one meeting and up to as many as four. Subsequent meetings will be at the discretion of the mentor and mentee.
  • In the application process, the mentees are asked to provide their top three choices of mentors; however, Ridley cannot guarantee that a young alumni will be matched with his or her first choice of mentor.
  • Following the match date, mentors and mentees will receive a short survey from the Development Office to provide feedback on the programme and their experiences.
