This two-week training programme is for both domestic and international students (ages 14-17) who possess the desire to become strong leaders.
Week 1: Students will hone-in on what it means to be a leader in the workplace. Theory-based leadership methodologies, personality styles and team-building exercises are all a part of the curriculum. Students will also complete the Standard First Aid and CPR Certification course, which includes AED training. All successful students will receive a certificate of completion.
Week 2: Students will become “Counsellors in Training” and will apply their newly acquired skills to structured leadership work experience by designing, organizing and implementing an ‘Olympics Day’ that will engage the participation of our day campers. Students will earn up to 15 volunteer hours that can be used towards their mandatory high school community service hours requirements.
This programme offers a fantastic opportunity for students to exercise teamwork, communication and group dynamics.
Note: all students must possess, at minimum, a moderate level of English language proficiency to attend this camp.
