Ridley’s dedication to the performing and visual arts is evidenced by our state-of-the- art facilities, the sheer amount of space dedicated to these pursuits, and the significant number of students who participate in our renowned programmes. Dancers, artists, actors and musicians find ample opportunity to pursue their passion at Ridley. Students, at all levels, are able to immerse themselves in the arts both through the many courses offered, as well as within a rich extracurricular programme offered in all three terms. Art teachers at Ridley are passionate about their work and dedicated in turn, to bringing out a similar passion in our students. Whether in music, drama , visual art, or dance, the opportunities are there for all forms of expression. The well equipped, 350 seat Mandeville Theatre, houses dance performances, theatre productions, and musical concerts celebrating the performing arts, in a space which is warm for the audience and exciting for the performer. Painting, sculpture and design tech projects are also developed in the studios and classrooms on the second floor and displayed throughout the building and around campus.
