A Message From The PresidentDear Parents, Staff and Friends of Ridley,
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the Ridley Community. I am very excited to be the President of the Ridley College Family Guild and hope to meet many of you throughout the year.
The “Guild” executive is comprised of a talented group of men and women that support the school through many activities you can see listed on this web site. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the volunteers for giving your most precious gift – time.
The “Guild” is in partnership with the school to run the Campus Co-op Store, we fund various items in the store and donate many hours of service. We like to provide as many products as possible so that it is easier for the children to concentrate on their school work and not have to be concerned about leaving the school to purchase specialty items.
The Co-op hours are:
Monday – Friday 9AM to 7PM
Saturday 9AM to 1PM
The revenue that we receive from the store is gifted back to the school through the “Wish List”, please click on the link to view what was gifted in 2008. We try very hard every year to fund academic, artistic, athletic and personal development of the various areas of the school. Last year the Guild gave back to the school over $70,000 in wish list items.
We realize that many parents are busy and have very little extra time to spend at the school but we hope that you will be able to join us for one of the 3 evening events that are held throughout the year. Our first will be the very popular “Barn Dance”.
In our endeavour to go green we try very hard to communicate through the internet so please remember to check the web pages and read any “push pages” that will be sent through email. Again, on behalf of myself and the Family Guild Executive, I would like to extend a warm welcome and I look forward to meeting you over the year.
