Parents and students should take a close look at the information below for important reminders about the end of this term and the beginning of the new term in January.

• December Examinations for grade twelve and PG students will run from Tuesday, December 9th to Tuesday, December 16th. Grade twelve students may leave for their holidays after their last examination.
• Students in grades nine to eleven will attend regular classes up to and including Tuesday, December 16th. There will be regular Chapel for grades nine to eleven. There will be no assembly on Thursday, December 11th. Sports and activities will continue for grades nine to eleven and students will be informed of the applicable schedules.
• As indicated in the pushpage of November 12th, all grade eleven students who take grade twelve courses have been given their individual schedules for study and examination accommodation.
• Boarders return on Monday, January 5th by 9:00 pm. Classes begin on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009.
• We thank you for your co-operation in ensuring that your child's travel arrangements do not require him or her to leave early or arrive back late in January.

Ridley’s Cadet Band will make its way through the city streets beginning at 2:30 pm. And of course, Santa won’t be far behind! This parade comes hot on the heels of a successful march in Toronto’s Santa Claus Parade on November 16th. “We walked along the streets of Toronto for eight kilometres with the Cadet Band playing for over two hours straight!” said chaperone Wendy Darby, O.R. ’99, of this year’s parade route. “At the end, I was tired! I can’t imagine how the students felt, but I was also very proud of Ridley that day!” Have a look at photos from the event, which was televised both nationally and internationally.
