MacLachlan, Graham M. OR'33
Graham was the elder MacLachlan brother - a prefect, gymnast, Cadet Commanding Officer, and noted public speaker were the marks of his distinguished Ridley career. He had an illustrious war record and became Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royal Regiment of Canada. He too became a president of the Old Boys Association and was elected to the Board of Governors in 1950, serving for nearly twenty years. In 1971, he was appointed to Ridley's Advisory Counsel and continued a generous involvement in the MacLachlan Stroke Unit at Sunnybrook Hospital, a pioneering research and rehabilitation centre. In 1981, Graham was named Metro Toronto Senior Citizen of the Year. He died in 1982.
