Black, Georgina OR'85
Georgina Black excelled in academics, athletics and extra-curricular activities while attending Ridley. She won the Cassels Trophy for debating in 1985. After graduating with a BA from McGill University, she also earned a CMC from the Canadian Association Management Consultants, and is a Graduate of Institute Corporate Directors. She is currently a Partner, Advisory Services with KPMG Canada and National Health Sector Lead. Black is actively involved in her community having served as Governor and Governance Committee Chair for Ridley College, Past Director of the Oakville Hospital Foundation, and a Past Trustee for Brock University. But perhaps the most exciting position is yet to come as, in 2014, Georgina was named the next Chair of the Ridley College Board of Governors, the first female to hold this position.
