If you are a "new student" starting at Ridley, the following will take you through a step by step process to register.




Upper School Information

  • Step 1: Getting Started

    1) Obtain Canadian Study Permits and/or Visa (for students outside of Canada)

    www.cic.gc.ca - Immigration Canada
    www.cic.gc.ca (Documents you may need when crossing the boarder)

    2) Complete the online enrollment contract based on information provided in the e-mail received from enrollment@ridleycollege.com. This e-mail will be sent to you, once you have accepted the offer of enrollment and paid the registration fee and refundable deposit.
     
    Make the tuition installment payments based on the dates of the payment plan chosen on the contract.

  • Step 2: Academics

    1) Course Selection - To book an appointment with a Guidance Counsellor, please email 
    Mrs. Charlene Hutton.

    2) Consent - Transfer of School Records

    • Ontario Students - Click here to complete the Consent for Transfer of School Records 
    • Out of Ontario Students - Download and complete the Transfer of School Records form. Submit the form to your child's current school authorizing them to send all academic documentation to Ms. Kay Johnson in the Academics Office.

    3) The Academics office requires the following documents:

    • Provide proof of students legal name (photocopy of birth certificate or passport)
    • Send a copy of your final report card
    • Forward all summer school credit/course information for any current enrolments
  • Step 3: Health Centre

    Complete the Student Medical Profile via our Magnus health portal (including record of immunizations)

    • Parents please ensure you have logged in successfully to complete this step
    • For instructions on how to retrieve your login information, click here.
    • Medical forms are only viewable from a parent account. Must use parent 'login' information.
    • The Magnus health portal is accessed from the parent resource board (the default landing page)
    • The Magnus link can be found on the resource board
    • Clicking the link will automatically take you to the start of your families health record

  • Step 4: Uniforms & Books

    Uniforms are purchased online or through Hank's Campus Store located in the lower level of the School House building. 
     
    Hank's is open for the purchase of uniforms on the following dates (no appointment necessary):

  • Step 5: Technology

    Students entering the Upper School are part of a mandatory laptop programme and are required to have a MAC Intel based laptop. When considering a unit to purchase, we recommend a minimum hard drive size of 256GB. This will ensure it supports our software image along with the students' work.

  • Step 6: Family Mentor Programme

    The Family Mentor Programme is made up of current parents who wish to extend a warm welcome to our new families from near and far. If you are new to the school you can expect an email or phone call from one of our family mentors who will be delighted to answer any questions that you may have. Our hope is to provide you and your child with a smooth transition to Ridley life and to encourage relationships within our community.

Students in grades JK- Grade 4 will have access to desktop computers in their classrooms and students in Grades 5-8 will have a school owned laptop assigned to them for daily use.   • Opening Camp Details

    All Upper Schools students will attend an opening of school camp off campus. Female students will be going to Camp White Pine and male students will visit Camp Onondaga.

  • Campus Life

    Ridley College is a vibrant and busy place, where every student finds his or her niche quickly. Both Upper School boarding and day students are directly associated with a residential house. The Houses of Ridley are very unique and are run by highly motivated and dedicated Heads of House. All faculty members are associated with our House system, which allows for the student body to interact with them outside of the classroom.
