Rod Jackson is the CEO of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce, representing 1000 local businesses and their interests to all levels of government. He is responsible for executing strategic direction, as well as managing and delegating staff resources and budgets.
Prior to his current role, Rod was a politician, and as a Member of Provincial Parliament, served as an official opposition critic for Community and Social Services. Rod obtained his BA in Political Science from York University, as well as a Graduate Certificate from York in Dispute Resolution and a Human Resources Management Diploma from Georgian College.
