• Banking and Financial Markets

John Rudd possessed an interest in banking even during his time as a student at Ridley. That interest developed into a summer internship in banking, and upon completion of that job, he fell in love with it. John now works in New York City for the Bank of Montreal (BMO) with high yield sales and trading.

John is the head of Canadian High Yield sales and covers institutions in Canada that buy and sell high yield debt and loans. Previous to his current position, John was the President of GMP Capital USA Division and prior to that was a governement bond trader for RBC.

John has a math degree from Queens University and is also a CFA, and would make a great mentor for anyone looking to enter the banking, or trading industry.
