Robin Lampard is the Chief Financial Officer for Norbord Inc., a TSX-listed manufacturer of oriented strand board; a product used primarily in new home construction. As CFO, Robin is responsible for the financial functions within Norbord, including financial reporting, investor relations, communications, operations accounting and control, taxation, treasury, insurance, pension asset management, and corporate records. Prior to joining Norbord, Robin worked in the audit practice at Ernst & Young.
During her almost 20 years at Norbord, Robin has had the opportunity to broaden her financial skill set beyond traditional accounting and auditing through first the Treasurer and now the CFO role in a global manufacturing company.
Robin is a graduate of Bishop's University, and holds her MBA from the University of Toronto. Robin is also a CPA, CA with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Anyone looking towards a career in accounting, or wanting to explore career opportunities beyond the traditional accounting roles, should look to Robin as a mentor.
