Lower School Tribes

We believe an environment that builds and supports community and a sense of belonging are essential ingredients for student happiness and success.

Our Lower School Tribes extend this environment beyond the classrooms and sports fields by offering all students an opportunity from all grades to work together and develop a sense of camaraderie.

Our four Lower School Tribes — Algonquin, Huron, Iroquois, and Mohawk — are a tribute to Canada’s proud First Nations heritage. They provide students with opportunities to gather with other students as part of a Kindergarten to Grade 8 group and participate in enriching activities, which range from healthy competitions to focused sessions designed to promote acceptance of diversity, increased empathy, and integrity.
