Milne, Fiona '90 - Rowing
“It is the journey of striving to achieve the success that matters so much more than success itself. You have to enjoy the journey,” wrote Fiona. Fiona Milne clearly enjoys the journey. At Ridley she was not only Female Athlete of the year but the Dorothy Burgoyne Award winner for quiet leadership and integrity. That underlying temperament, combined with talent and persistence, saw her develop into a top tier athlete, making the Olympic Rowing teams in 2000 in Sydney and in Athens in 2004 as a part of a six-year career representing Canada.
