The HelpDESK area at Ridley is located on the second floor of School House. It is designed to assist students and faculty with technical problems and to assist with troubleshooting advice. This includes any hardware, software or network specific problems encountered by Ridley students or staff. Our Help Desk staff are certified Apple technicians licensed by Apple Computer.
Training sessions or workshops can be provided through the HelpDESK in order to learn software, scanning techniques, etc. with one of our technicians. These sessions can be arranged through Heather Cousins who will schedule a time for you based on availabilty.
The HelpDESK is open 6 days a week.During the Academic Year, Help Desk hours are as follows:

Laptop Servicing
The following list is the order of events which occur if your laptop computer requires servicing:
- A "Web HelpDESK Ticket" must be filled out.
- "Quick Fix" turnaround time is 1 to 2 days if no replacement parts are required.
- If parts are needed, these will be ordered and a "loaner" machine will be provided until parts are received and laptop is repaired.
- There is no cost for repair as long as the computer is under AppleCare Certified warranty.
