Greenwood, John '81 - Squash

During his time at the school, John Greenwood excelled in football, squash, rugby, tennis and track. He won three consecutive ISAA squash titles. He moved on to the University of Western Ontario, where he won consecutive OUAA titles and managed to always place in the top five in NCAA rankings. He is a member of the Canadian Squash Jesters, an organization that promotes squash throughout the world, encouraging “the game at its most sporting best.” He recalls that his best Ridley memories involved travelling with his squash team to the UK and to the US, proudly representing school and country. It doesn’t get more meaningful than that.
“In sport, there is a bonus round: The friends and teammates you played with end up being your friends for life.”
