Evans, Hugh '87 - Rowing

Hugh Evans from the Class of 1987 was a force to be reckoned with on the water as a member of Ridley’s Senior Heavy Eight. After graduating from Ridley, he rowed for Harvard University. In 1989, his crew won the National Championship and went on to row an historic race in the finals of the Ladies Plate competition at the Royal Henley Regatta. In 2006, he was inducted into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame.
