Born, Trevor '83 - Sailing

As a Ridley student, Trevor Born from the Class of 1983 took part in a variety of sports: squash; cross country skiing; football and rugby. It’s no surprise that this avid athlete maintains a wide range of sports interests, from mountain biking to snowboarding. But it’s a passion for watersports - sailing and windsurfing - that distinguishes him. In the three-person “lightning” class of sailboats, he won seven Canadian championships, two North American championships and a bronze medal in the 1999 Pan-Am Games.
